Pilates Body Control

Run by Victoria Milton, who co-directed our Academy with Grandmaster Bennett for 3 decades. Victoria is an accredited Fitness Trainer and an accredited Tai Chi Instructor. Our Chatswood and Kiama Pilates sessions provide a complete workout for men and women of all ages. All of the abdominal muscles are strengthened along with the muscles of back, the shoulders, the buttocks, legs and arms. As well as improving core strength through pilates you will gain an understanding of your own dynamic postural patterns and how to prevent injuries in daily life, sporting and fitness activities. Over time results results will be evident from even a regular weekly session.

We provide Studio Style Pilates for small groups, personal pilates sessions, and for government or corporate groups. Personal sessions in Body Control and Tai Chi are available in Sydney or Kiama by appointment. Small Group Pilates runs in Kiama on Wednesday evenings and Chatswood on Thursday evenings. Victoria’s Chatswood class is preceded by her Tai Chi class.

New courses commence approx every 2 months so that participants can progress through the exercises at a steady pace. At every level pilates props such as the foam roller, fitball, resistance bands and pilates resistance circle may be utilsed to enhance the workout.

Class numbers are small so that your instructor can assist and/or challenge individuals appropriately.

$185 – 10 classes
$ 20 – Casual Class to try out
$100 – 1 hour Personal Sessions (may be shared with a friend)

Health / Injury Note:
Prior to training a health clearance may be required for participants with injuries or prior medical conditions. Group classes are unsuitable for participants with serious back problems – here our personal one-on-one sessions are recommended.
